What you will learn

I began crafting this course with the beginner-intermediate artist in mind, ensuring each step is clear, engaging, and paced just right so that even if you are newer to polymer clay, you'll feel right at home. The focus is on creating something beautiful from the get-go while learning techniques that will serve as building blocks for future projects. I've organized the lessons to gradually build your confidence, with tips and tricks sprinkled in to make the learning process both enjoyable and rewarding. By the end of our time together, not only will you have at least one bright, cheerful sunflower design to show off, but you'll also have gained a greater understanding of working with polymer clay, allowing you to branch out into creating all sorts of unique pieces of your own. I look forward to seeing what you do with what you learn here!

Jenn Hall has been in the business of making jewelry since she crocheted a single stitch chain necklace and bracelet set for her ballet teacher in 1994. Involved in E-Commerce since the early days of Ebay, Jenn spent 10 years restoring life back into forgotten vintage jewelry pieces, while falling in love with vibrant and bright vintage pieces made from plastics. In 2016, Boomerang Betty's was started as a vintage pinup inspired brand that created jewelry from resin that hearkened back to vintage plastics like celluloid, bakelite, thermoset, and others. In 2022, after a devastating crochet-related thumb injury, Jenn first touched polymer clay.

A lifelong learner and a passionate advocate for breaking down learning barriers for artists while building strong maker communities, Jenn is pleased to offer back a little of what she has learned along the way.
